Welcome to our blog for the 2017-2018 school year.

Each month a new batch of featured writers will be published.  As part of your grade for class, you are responsible for reading each piece and leaving comments for the writers.  I will let you know your assignment for the month via School Loop.  Leaving helpful, thoughtful, constructive feedback and comments enhances this component of the assignment.  This is part of your grade.

When you are a featured writer you get see all of your peers' comments and feedback.  Feel free to respond to comments.  You do not have to leave comments for other writers for that month, but you are more than welcome to do so.

Your assignment for this month is to read ALL of the thirteen pieces featured on the blog.  Choose at least one piece from the three categories (Personal Narrative, Abstract Idea and Flash Fiction).  Give at least one reason as to why you enjoyed this piece.  Do not just say, "I like it" or "Great piece".  Be kind and helpful in your commentary.

Don't forget to sign in to your Google account OR make sure to leave your name if you use the Anonymous tag when you comment.
