Welcome to our class literary blog. Here in this virtual classroom, we will share and discuss our own and peers'
writings. This is part of the class curriculum and, yes, you will be
graded on your submissions, and your comments will also factor into your
grade. For many of you, this type of writing project is new. You have probably never published an original piece of writing before, let alone, submit it online to a blog. Don't worry! You will be fine and this is a lot of fun:)
The first thing you need to do is sign up for your month. Sign ups are in class. I have posted the Blog Menu on School Loop in your lockers. Refer to the handout. You have six options/choices to choose from. You will submit your original work to turnitin.com on or before the monthly due date.
I am excited to read the new, innovative, funny, informative, (insert your own adjective :)) pieces. As for right now, sit back and wait until the end of the month to see what our August writers have been working on. August writers, I will send you emails, via School Loop, to remind you and keep you posted of your deadline.
You can peruse the Blog at your leisure. I have archived the Blog and all of last year's featured writers. Take you time and enjoy the readings already posted. There is a plethora of reading available.
