Just Friends        

                Are friendship began on January 3rd. I was late to my morning class, I was running through the hallways trying to make it  on time to my class and I broke out in a nervous sweat thinking that the professor would lock me out. About time I got to my class I was out of breathe and tired, with only a few seconds to spare. I grabbed the seat closes to the door, the teacher started his lecture exactly at 10:00. Everyone already had their lecture book out, and when I went to grab my book from out of my bag just  to notice that it wasn't there. I panicked only for a second until the guy sitting next to me offered to share his book with me.  HIs name was Christopher and he saved me that day. After class we ended up getting coffee together and our conversation just started to flow automatically.  We sat in the coffee shop for hours only to realize that we were the only ones left. From that day on we became best friends, and everyone would always say that we will end up getting together, that a male and female can't stay "just friends". Me and Christopher would just laugh them off. We have proven everyone wrong for the last 8 years.  I  just came home from New York and called Christopher, " Hey I just arrived at the airport , are u still coming to get me"? he said, "yea of course I'm like 30 minutes away", my reply was "ok I'll see you soon". After Christopher got off the phone he looked down to the passenger seat where the dozen of red roses laid, and the black box thathad the diamond ring inside. He focused back on the road with a smile on his face  remembering the morning of January 3rd.
